Bill's comment: The government should outlaw baseball bats. What about candlesticks? (Colonel Potter in the Library with the candlestick!) What about bathtubs? (John Glenn fell and broke his leg in his bathtub and had to drop out of his run for the Presidency.) What about airbags? (Air bags can kill. Oh, wait, the government requires they be installed in all vehicles. Curious.) What about forklifts? (There was a news article about deaths by forklifts, but it has been taken down) What about Swine Flu Shots? (Check out this: More people died from vaccination than from Swine Flu.)
I could go on, but I really have to go make some boards. I just wish there was a government representative to protect me in my shop. I could hurt myself with that drillpress.
